Asha Staples Stanton – Communications Director
Asha Staples Stanton is a communications expert with over a decade of experience in news broadcasting, strategic messaging, and nonprofit leadership. Her work has spanned key institutions such as WLOX-TV, WALA-TV, WWL-TV, and Housing First, Inc., where she currently serves as Director of Communications and Special Services.
With a background in mass communications, journalism, and public engagement, Asha has earned awards for her storytelling ability and built a reputation for connecting communities through authentic, impactful messaging. Her work continues to empower voices and drive awareness on critical issues facing southwest Alabama.
As part of Rodney Clements Jr.’s campaign team, Asha leads communications strategy, media outreach, and public engagement initiatives to keep residents informed, inspired, and involved in shaping Prichard’s future.
